What we check
Text extraction
A PDF made of images β for example one made in Canva or via screenshot β is blank to ATS systems. We verify your CV contains real text.
Section headers
ATS links information to section headers. "Experience", "Education" and "Skills" β without them the system doesn't know what it's reading.
Contact details
Email and phone must be machine-readable, not hidden in an image.
Length & pages
400-900 words on 1-2 pages is the standard. Too short raises doubts; too long gets skipped.
